I don't think anything bigger than the Transit would see the service unsustainable. The 65 definitely falls under the 'lifeline' category which should be local authority funded for it's security, as it links together a lot of places, such as Hartfields and Ryehill Gardens, with elderly residents who would otherwise be isolated. Sue Little also runs a non-profit dial-a-ride for disbaled & vulnerable residents in Hartlepool, what a sorry state of affairs when a private operator has to step in where the council fails. 

Paul's Travel Facebook confirms the 65 will no longer serve Dalton Piercy & West Park from next month, which leaves both areas without any service. 

An another note, there's a sharp decline in the standard of information found in Connect Tees Valley's Forthcoming Changes PDF, mostly just saying 'revised route & timetable'.
