Residents of Easington Collirey:
Service 23 will be reduced to hourly, however will see a new 21 hourly service with both services combining to provide the Every 30 minutes frequency. Service 23 will no longer serve Dalton Park. On Sundays service 22 will continue to serve Easington Collirey.
Residents of Sunderland:
Service 22 and 23 will both be reduced to hourly, however will see the introduction of service 21 and X21 with 4 buses per hour between Sunderland and Peterlee.
Residents between Peterlee and Fishburn:
Service X22 will be Withdrawn, as such the link to North Tees Hospital, Stockton and Middlesbrough will be discontinued. Passenger's should travel on either service 57 to Coxhoe and connect with service X12, or travel on either service 21 or X21 to Sedgefield and change for Service X12.
As I live in east Durham area, can’t see any of these services working, also Hartlepool to billingham to Middlesbrough won’t work as it would mean Arriva going back from the deal that there made with Stagecoach. If it’s not broke then it doesn’t need fixing, existing network works ok. Doesn’t take much to change from bus to bus to continue your journey.
