The Designlines were not operated by Go North East, they were operated by Stagecoach Newcastle.
Why would Winlaton depot being held onto, with the expense attached to maintaining and operating the facility?
Also, who benefits from preservation of older vehicles? Is is the majority of passengers who use services, or is it the small number of enthusiasts who will want to rejoice over the good ol' days?
