I've done this outward journey three times now this week, at different times of the day. A total of 53 passengers, the vast majority of which were on board before the three tuns stop, then alighted at either the New Inn or Science site across these journeys. I appreciate that they can still use the 6 for this journey, but that is quite an extra strain to put on the peak journeys for example.
The 56/57/57A/X12 should have been sent through Hallgarth Street a long time ago, but there was always resistance based on the claim that the New Inn is one of the most popular stops. Either that has changed overnight, or I wonder if this is an attempt to leverage some extra funding out of the University, perhaps to run a campus shuttle?
