Much of the remaining suggestions are just duplications of other routes where the costs required for extra resources would not be worth the time and effort for Arriva.
Barnard Castle extension on the 6, before the Scarlet Band 85 existed there was the Arriva 85 (previously service 8) and this was withdrawn due to not being commercially viable, admittedly it was 2 hourly like current 85 but even still...
Reducing frequency on the 7 is not an attractive thought to those using the service considering route is different to others suggested.
