</p><p><br></p><p>Loss of competition? Newcastle is predominantly served by Stagecoach so that would be fine with the CMA. The only depots that could pose an issue would be Blyth &amp; Ashington. However, with the following the CMA could just about be convinced...........</p><p><br></p><p>- If Stagecoach get&nbsp;Blyth:</p><p>* GNE would run competing 309 service against 308.</p><p>* GNE (if got Jesmond) would compete to some extent with the 43 between Cramlington &amp; Newcastle.</p><p><br></p><p>-&nbsp; If GNE get Ashington:</p><p>* Stagecoach (if they got Blyth) would&nbsp;run 1 &amp; 2 to Widdrington, Ashington, Bedlington and Morpeth competing with GNE locally around Blyth Valley, Wansbeck and Morpeth.</p>
