Why could Arriva be running via Cowgate, not in service? Arriva operate in Gosforth mainly within the West End, with only the 685 running through Denton Burn (shared with Stagecoach). No reason for Arriva to send a bus via Cowgate surely? I have occasionally seen them in Cowgate, but thought it was probably scholars on those occasions.
