The biggest issue (for me anyway) with Arriva is the lack of money. The lack of investment is really starting to show with the age and condition of some of the fleet.

As I've said before, what they need is someone to come in and buy them, invest the money they need to improve the services! GNE are upgrading their fleet like money is going out of fashion, and it's really putting Arriva to shame. They need drivers that at least act like they want to be there, and

Don't get me wrong, I'd love nothing more than for GNE to buy Arriva's Durham operations, but if they were allowed, I can't see anything good coming of it.

If not Stagecoach of Go-Ahead, who could buy them?

GNE invests very heavily, whereas Arriva seems to do very little, to nothing, to improve their services.

I'd like GNE to get all the services that go via Gosforth, so I'd have loads of buses into town instead of just the Q3 and currently the Nexus 33/33A. We can dream...
