As quoted by another user in previous posts when the changes were released, he rightly quoted it would be sensible for Arriva to follow suit and drop their equivalent services to every 20 minutes.
And my example timetable (which I'll post in the Arriva thread) will demonstrate that it would be possible for the 306 & 308 to be shared between Blyth and Jesmond.
If Arriva could have the opportunity to reduce their PVR from 21x (306/308/51/51A) to 17x whilst only losing a fraction of their current revenue, I'm sure they would.
