Stagecoach's 22 extension basically. It's more frequent, less expensive and also goes more places. There's no reason to use the 40/41 if you lived close enough to get the 22. Now that they've lost the night time and evenings it's looking very bleak for them and will be the final nail in the coffin imo hence the 11 going into Holy Cross. It wouldn't surprise me if the 41 is gone altogther or only Wallsend to Hadrian Park in the next couple years.
