In my opinion, as someone who uses this service for that particular journey on a frequent basis, it's most certainly an inconvenience.

The vast majority of passengers using the link to the QE from my aforementioned areas will be elderly, travelling to appointments, and changing buses throws a spanner in the works for their previously quick and simple journey, regardless of how easy it may seem for us spring chickens.

Depends how many of those passengers are now going to travel or will be at home shielding. Let's be honest - if the route had that much demand it would survive. We're in a world where it's all about cash. It's like seeing reduced ranges in supermarkets and takeaways - cut the cloth to focus on making money to keep the business alive.

I have to say - I can't see me conceivably wanting to ever board a bus in the short to medium term and I'd imagine those of us with options of the car or resources for a taxi will be the same.

Does the Q1 not cover the diverted 25 or can passengers not make a shorter walking journey from Harlow Green to Durham Road to catch the X12, 21 or 28B?
