Let's be honest - if the route had that much demand it would survive. We're in a world where it's all about cash. It's like seeing reduced ranges in supermarkets and takeaways - cut the cloth to focus on making money to keep the business alive.
I have to say - I can't see me conceivably wanting to ever board a bus in the short to medium term and I'd imagine those of us with options of the car or resources for a taxi will be the same.
Does the Q1 not cover the diverted 25 or can passengers not make a shorter walking journey from Harlow Green to Durham Road to catch the X12, 21 or 28B?
One would argue that it's the lack of demand on the Harlow Green stretch (a significant drop in frequency and service for people here), hence diverting a much less-frequent existing service, rather than the lack of passengers departing at the QE.... maybe a case of "which route can we get away with diverting without causing the most noise"?! For obvious reasons the likes of the 56 and X1 couldn’t be diverted!
A dramatic drop in service for the people in those areas!
