Nah don't think so with the Tunnel as you can't get from Eldon Square to N. Shields easily since Eldon Square only really goes south. Can't get from NCL to CLS though without going through Gateshead . You're on the right track with the 78 though

I'll give you another big hint though, look at one of the services I didn't list before
