I think GNE would want to keep a consistent X lines branded service for the X30. There would be an upgrade for passengers from a Citaro to a 200 MMC or a Streetlite, but as the 6 & X30 interwork during the evening, I would rather them use the newer X lines double deckers, which are fuel efficient anyway. Also on weekends it will mean that more passengers can be (socially distanced) carried, and less chance of having to send out an extra bus on the 6A because it’s full and the next ones 2 hours away!
