Go North East are operating five duplicates for Arriva, which until this week were allocated tri-axle coaches.
Some of the tri-axle coaches are now being used on rail replacement between Middlesbrough and Whitby, so conventional buses (displaced from Washington following the entry into service of their new StreetDecks) are now being allocated to three of the five boards.
Deptford have more space in their depot to accommodate the extra work. Percy Main is quite full, and wouldn't have been able to accommodate five tri-axle coaches.

Go North East are now operating larger vehicles on five of the six boards on service X20, to allow better social distancing. Some of the former Red Kite Streetlite have transferred to Deptford to allow this.
One board on the X20 must remain as a Solo (as it runs onto the Nexus-secured 79A contract on an evening), but the other five Solos have been displaced:
- one being used on a duplicate for Arriva North East in Durham, which has displaced an indiGo Solo back to Washington.
- two being used on staff shuttles at Deptford, allowing the two Toon Tour Volvo B7 to be taken out of service
- 677 one being used at Percy Main on the Byker ASDA contract
- 678 being used at Washington on a duplicate of service 5 - the operation of this duplicate is now being run from Percy Main instead, so it has joined 677.
