Find it absolutely bizarre that they didn't simply give the 306 to Blyth, or the X16 to Ashington, given that it only seems to be a couple of boards.
It also looks great under the 'partnership' discussions too.
There are no winners here, as bus operators still aren't carrying passengers and can't make a profit. The government will effectively be funding this via CBSSG.
