At least in Hexham, Gateshead and north Durham, Go North East is the main operator. Also in South Shields and Sunderland they are the main interurban operator. Given that Arriva have depots in Jesmond, Blyth and elsewhere in Northumberland, North Tyneside seems outside natural Go North East territory.
