It can take 20 minutes to get into Whitby at times nevermind the rest of the route. On paper at least it should be fine although in reality there's certain outcomes that can hinder timekeeping on roads like the A171, I remember going to Scarborough in the car once and it took us an hour to do Whitby to Scarborough as we got stuck behind someone who didn't exceed 30mph the whole way there!
The potential of being left behind in Scarborough on the return journey, looking at the timetable that's being circulated, the X11 appears to be using stand U outside Scarborough Rail Station whilst the X93/X94 uses stand S so in theory anybody else wanting Whitby/Boro with a bus pass etc that happens to see the X11 will end up boarding behind those specifically wanting the X11 and in Whitby its seemingly departing from Langborne Road adjacent to the Co-op store as opposed to the Bus Station so *hopefully* this will help to avoid anyone being left behind (although bit of a loss of picking up some potential passengers in Whitby).
