Ditto the 191. That never lasted long either. Although that may have been down to frequency and it shadowing the 194 and 294 for a large portion of the route.
Yes I remember this around the early-mid 90s. I think the 194 was extended to Newcastle Newgate Street and I think this was to compete with Redby's 394 service or vice versa if I remember correctly.
