Would've though bus travel should be ok for a while yet.  They will prioritise supplies to critical industries, in just the same way they won't allow ambulances, police and fire to run dry.  There have been reports of the Army being drafted in to drive tankers, which as short term fix should also mitigate some of the worst of the disruption.
