Most internally would even agree that the StreetDecks have proven far superior in terms of build quality than the ADL Enviro400s.
The latter rattle like mad, whereas the former are much more solidly built. Whilst the StreetDecks are known to have long periods off service when they are off service, the ADL E400s are off service far more frequently albeit for shorter durations each time.
Now the issues with retarders have been fixed (a year or so later!) drivers prefer the ADLs, but that’s probably moreso due to the increased power and speed.
