I have the same opinion on Apple fanboys as well. I can't stand Apple as a company, but I've had iPhones in the past and have a Mac as my second computer.

Why can't people just look objectively at things, praise a company when they do something good, but also be able to criticise them when they haven't?

As much as I post negativity about GCT and Arriva on here, I'm fairly sure I've posted more about GNE despite them being my preferred operator.

It's because there's people in the company who engage with them once in a bluemoon so they see them as friends (almost) and treat them as celebrities, in a weird way, whereas Arriva and Stagecoach are just suits to them. In reality all three are the same let's be honest. It's a bit weird but each to their own getting attachment to companies.
