Now down to post COVID service levels, it’s PVR is 7, but it does seem for weeks now, that 2 Drifter StreetLites often get allocated to the 5/9 from start of service, meaning at least one bus on the daytime 60 allocation is filled by something else. Bus times suggests 5369, 5373 and 5376 all seem to have started the day of the 5/9 circuit on Tuesday.Problem is Tuesday there was two solo's on the 60, a Ex-Saltwell Park on the 9, Berries spare on the 9/5. And there was like 2 drifters on the 9/5 but a 60 on the 2/2A. I think 5369/5376 either will become the dedicated spare for the 60, if and when they get repainted .
Allocating the one spare branded Drifter bus to the 5/9 makes sense since evening 5/9 interwork with the 60. But as to why that happens with more than one branded bus, is odd.
