Also looking at the zones, I’ve done some very very basic drawings on the GNE county zone map to include those local area tickets. See here: https://ibb.co/z4VpfVf - Hexham and Tynedale seem to be an obvious area missing a local area ticket, with the only other areas that seem to miss out on being included in at least one of the local area tickets, being Woodstone Village and Bournmoor, a victim of borders it seems in the case of the latter two.
Decent news for those in Langley Park, Sacriston and Birtley who have the option of two local area tickets plus the county zone tickets.
Glad someone drew that, still think they should be the zones minus the county zones with a few small changes namely removing the 2 overlaps you mentioned there; Langley Park, Sacriston going towards Durham and . Namely the Sunderland ticket covering the whole of Sunderland Council and East Durham and then the missing Tynedale ticket. They're all county based aswell.
North Tyne and SE Northumberland

South Tyneside

7 zones, 1 zone is £4.00; 2 zones is £5.30, 3 zones is £6.00. Nothing more, bar maybe a 21 and maybe a new 56/X1 routesaver (because Washington has just become 3 zone to Newcastle and is probably too much).
