I do honestly think that had COVID not happened then we would have seen passenger numbers continue to increase. The mistake I think they've made is continuing on with the same strategy rather than changing course. Now, I don't know what course that would be, but I'm not the MD!
I think what we need is to figure out where people actually want to go. It's all well and good picking two places and complaining because there isn't a bus between them, but how do we actually know people want to travel between them?
We need someone like Nexus to commission a piece of research to really figure this out before they start cutting routes left right and centre. It would be difficult and expensive, but it would be worth it
I love how all the services which have got brand new buses their frequencies being reduced.
honestly I feel like they are waiting maybe 1 year before ordering more buses for the 60 as that seems to be the only one which doesn’t have any major changes.
