I would say the Xlines branding has been a failure with many missed opportunities. The name itself does nothing the old Go Xpress brand from the late 90s early 00s was a lot better. Then services been constantly messed about with some been axed after a year is hardly a success either. Having East Yorkshire as a sister company should have opened new connections and better services in the Teesside area but other than the X11 nothing which is a complete missed opportunity.

On the subject of the X9/X10 that is another daft decision. It’s gone from an half hourly combined service taking roughly 70 minutes to over 90 minutes. Try getting on at Peterlee and it was a problem before but it’s now even worse. It’s trying to do to much it needs splitting again with a 30 minute combined service.
