(08 Jul 2022, 1:00 pm)stagecoachbusdepot wrote Like I said yesterday I think it's telling that the branding for Prince Bishops has reverted to the old/current style and none of the 'new' services are branded (24/61/208 are examples that spring to mind). I wouldn't be surprised to see most if not all new services go corporate and the now clearly ineffective branding and rebranding die out quietly along with MG's reign. Are you referring to the PDF? The actual page has always had the logo currently used on the buses, only printed timetables had/have this
They've acted pretty quickly to remove the link to the pdf's which is positive in the short term (provided they come back - those tables are awful!) though there's still gremlins, e.g. 38 displays no services to the Docks on any date post 24th, unless you change it to show 'to Tunstall' so still not great in terms of easiness for joe public to find info.
Would be a shame to see names like 'Prince Bishops' and 'Drifter' die off, but the trouble is there's been far too much branding and rebranding - there could be real value in branding certain high-profile services, but there's no real need for things like Sunderland District with every route having its own colour.
