Trust me I've seen liveries that are a hell of a lot worse over the years, here is some examples.
Jaylines Lime and Grape coloured Mercedes Benz 709D when they just put it into service in the previous operators livery - https://www.flickr.com/photos/gjm-photog...6884921242
Blackpool Palladium Livery looks like they just used undercoat for the livery - https://www.flickr.com/photos/gjm-photog...7779126285
Blackpool Metro Coastline Pool Livery version 1 (Mustard) also on loan to Arriva North East - https://www.flickr.com/photos/gjm-photog...1884391608
National Express West Midlands / Coventry new livery (again the obsession with grey) - https://www.flickr.com/photos/gjm-photog...1974364534
Nexus Bus / GCT livery (suppose it matches the tape that keeps the buses together and yes the 4x4 is towing it) - https://www.flickr.com/photos/gjm-photog...1058743001
There is plenty more subject to taste, then there's a few questionable advert liveries.
You definitely don't like grey mind. Personally I think the two grey liveries look quite smart there, don't mind them at all.
We've had a fair share up here tbf. Magic Roundabout and Pronto being the two that stand out for GNE but this from Arriva tops them - https://www.flickr.com/photos/hhhumber/3551393815 imo or this from Rural Link which looks like they were drunk - https://www.flickr.com/photos/wanderer30/48692775726
Didn't one of Durham operators put GNE's ex Mini Metro Solo's straight out branded up aswell - Scarlett Band rings a bell.
