No disrespect, but it's a disgrace that GNE can't keep a bus on the road for the sake of an extra 25-30 minutes to satisfy penny pinching yet are happy to repaint into every colour going!
The founding route (second major link to Cobalt after the R19) has effectively been stripped back worse to the 2013-2016 era when NCC had to step in to save the early morning journeys!
So now effectively if you work in Cobalt and live in Blyth or live in Hadrian Park or High Farm and want to get home from Newcastle yet have to wait an hour? It's almost like a big screw you we don't care from GNE (and that's me being polite!)!
Don't know about Hadrian Park & High Farm but lets hope some of the marketing team at Doxford Park can exploit the gap with the 54/308!
Perfectly valid point for those that finish at 8pm, they have a 50 Minute wait to head home towards Whitley Bay/Blyth. To my knowledge in the 3 years I worked for EE the service on an evening has always been poor unless your heading in the opposite direction towards Newcastle.
All Go North East need to do is retime the evening departures by switching around the 309/310 departures from Newcastle and i'd also say on an evening after 7pm the 310 should serve Cobalt Business Park in full to make it easier for those in North Shields to get home also.
