I can't believe that this route has been used by whoever came up with it, otherwise they'd never have thought this is a good way to encourage people to use buses.
n.b. the car journey would take 8 minutes.
I did it from Lambton to Durham the other week and did the same journey just before the changes and my god it weren't half noticeable how much longer it takes although somehow it feels longer than it actually is just to reach CLS, didn't help it was at rush hour so the obligatory crawl along Picktree Lane made it feel longer still.
