More passengers along there might push a 30 minute service as it's a shockingly bad frequency for a line that connects 2 major metropolitan areas and some large towns on route aswell (Peterlee, Seaham and Hartlepool)
Once the second platform is sorted at Hartlepool, I reckon it will free up a bit more space on that line.
