We're going back 20 years or so but Robson ran the 58 half hourly Stockton to Hardwick every 26th December and more recently Go-Ahead ran it's X35 (or whatever number it was that month) Sunderland to Hartlepool on the 26th for a couple of years.

At my depot we're off 25th and 26th December and 1st January and that's that. 27th December and 2nd January are vouluntary at time and a half but no leiu day accrued. I've personally put in for both as I generally work Monday to Friday regardless of bank holidays anyway.
