Layovers for the 47 again are too short I think its like 25 mins overall that isn't enough.
4x Euro 6 spares covering a Euro 6 PVR of 19x is way more than enough, and gives a spare ratio of around 1 for every 5 which is more than enough!
What sort of layovers do you expect? GNE don't have a bottomless pit of cash for extra drivers and resources in the PVR!

That is 41 minutes of layover time in a 4hr16m cycle! Okay could maybe have a bit extra at Eldon Square with a re-jigg but would lead to stand congestion. Most interurban services typically get a 7-8 minute layover in Newcastle.
