More importantly, they said the way it's been marketed is misleading people into buying singles over a day ticket, which actually costs them more money. To be honest, I can see how that could be the case if you're not too familiar with the tickets available.

True, went on a day trip with a couple of mates who were visiting from Ireland. Was still worth it for them two to get a Day Rover each with us using 3 buses, the ferry and a metro. No worrying about prices of travel either, so we could get the bus up from the Quayside to the City Centre when we didn't fancy Dean Street after a day of walking.
