37/38 or smthing a loop between Doxford - Pennywell - Sunderland - A690 - Thorney - Doxford  at every 20 mins. Would be worth a go, you could also run the Sunderland to Doxford Route Via John Street & Park lane (old 55 stand), and then use Stand A or smth going to Pennywell on the other loop

Don't think they would risk areas like Thorney
Close, Grindon, Springwell etc, all Stagecoach with good passenger numbers.
