See the gap around the right distance away, plant the foot then by the time she's spooled up, the gap is there and you're away.
Sister 3943 is ok once it gets going and puts some (very little) heat out. However I've found, especially after modifications it simply won't pull away on an incline. You put your foot down and simply nothing happens, I've been caught out a few times including at a set of lights on a hill. 3943 also seems to drink oil like its going out of fashion.
It will be interesting to see what 3941 is like if/when it returns to service...
