Tbf maybe if GNE actually give a toss and timetabled the X20 right, and from Stand N (why move it to L is just ludicrous to me)
Esocially how the X20 is nearly late everyday as well as the peak time 20 from Rainton which does the 20 to Eas Herrington then goes on the South tyneside circuit and the normal 20 all clash, so all the stands are taken anyway due to that and its a nightmare trying to get to whichever one you need that's not in the actual stand as they're nearly always late so they just pull out.

The morning journey on the 861 was often a single decker, I often passed it. So capacity wise it must just need a single decker. Looking at last week it seems 861 journeys ran onto X20’s which seems to be still allocated deckers judging by yesterdays tracking data, so the 861 was likely just coincidentally allocated a decker in the afternoon.
Yer but on the night the 861s are quiet busy. But even the X20s on the night don't get that busy, i must get one 2/3 times a week and they're not busy. Its the 7:06, 7:32 20s that are suppose to get deckers. But I think thee 6:40 20 to Sunderland from Langley deserves one as well.
