The 'duplicates' did run at a 20 minute frequency just 'late' though on the 43 and 306.
"NUFC First Team Evening Match Days (kick off 1945 or 2000)". Obviously that being the legal basis to run extra services.
With scope that they can run up to 30 minutes later if kick off is delayed, extra time or penalties.

- 22:00 - 307 North Shields (normal)
- 22:08 - 306 Billy Mill (extra) - BUS 1
- 22:15 - 308 Blyth (normal)
- 22:23 - 307 Norham Road / Verne Road (extra) - BUS 2
- 22:30 - 309 Blyth (normal)
- 22:38 - 306 Tynemouth (extra) - BUS 3
- 22:45 - 306 Tynemouth (normal)
- 22:53 - 308 Blyth (extra) - BUS 4
- 23:00 - 307 North Shields (normal)
- 23:15 - 308 Blyth (normal)
- 23:30 - 306 Tynemouth (extra) - BUS 1
- 23:45 - 309 Whitley Bay (normal)
With the usual higher passengers / traffic volumes, terminating BUS 1 (ex Newcastle @ 22:08) would allow it to run back to Newcastle light in good time to pick up the 23:30 journey. Still extra Tynemouth journeys at 22:38 and 23:30.
