Yes they did (well sort of). When the Hunters business was aquired, Northumbria moved the operation to Moor Dale's garage at Dudley (as Northumbria owned them) and they operated out of there for a while. It was during this time that the local service work of Moor Dale was changed to be operated by Hunters. These services were the 350/351 (Dudley Circulars) as mentioned but also the 365/366 (Freeman Hospital/Four Lane Ends to Cramlington).
When Stagecoach decided to operate to Cramlington with their service X43 to compete with Northumbria, the 365/366 was extended from Freeman Hospital into Newcastle in retaliation, but it didnt last too long (and neither did the X43).
At some point Proudmutual sold the coach side of the business to its former owners.
