Now on a typical weekday morning i welcome in excess of 150 passengers on 2 runs into newcastle, a simple morning passes my lips as those mainly pass holders get on and i can say only 10% of those will make eye contact or say morning back to me, and when the 9.30am barrier lifts and the freebies begin well lets say the conc D holders are the most ungrateful passengers i've ever met, so maybe no wonder drivers attitude is brought up in many complaints because what we have to put up with on a daily basis.
I agree with you mate, there is always a minority of wankstains, and I can see why a driver would have a short fuse sometimes and be stroppy, I used to get like that working at the Stadium of Light having to deal with pissed football fans who can be a bunch of wankers without making the effort...
As for pass holders, dont tar us all with the same brush

The thing with bus driving is it is thankless, we rarely hear the good things drivers do, but step out of line and by god you will know about it, I have always had the thing of taken time to write to the company if they do something to please me, and I know of at least 2 drivers who recieved commendations for me a good turn
