Less favourable in the legal sense. A normal passenger journey from my understanding falls into the GB regulations, as it's an exception in the EU regulations. So after 5.5 hours of driving you must take a 30 minute uninterrupted break.
Workers in a call centre would fall under the standard rest breaks at work rules. They're entitled to an uninterrupted rest break of 20 minutes if they work more than 6 hours a day.
