Unsure on Northumbria, but Darlington seemingly had most of their routes programmed into their NSAs, so could be possible that they have more routes in them than you'd think, even routes that typically aren't allocated NSA enabled buses.
Think Darlo's were last updated shortly after the E200MMCs transferred in, but I haven't taken much notice of late and I often seem to wind up on buses without them.
