£6.80 has no restrictions and is not limited to only Tyne and Wear ,where as the £6.00 is a popular ticket, but the amount of people who have this ticket and try to travel into Country Durham is quite high , they then have to pay a minimum of £2. , so it's then cost them in total £8.
So for an extra 80p it's the better ticket (region wide) , "I offer the £6.80 first when people ask for a day ticket to travel on buses, metro, ferry and train (Sunderland to Blaydon line)
