There’ll be a manpower cost to setting up and maintaining the multitude of tickets (and the constant price changes)  and who’s paying £5.50 to mooch around Gateshead for a day when they can have Tyne and Wear for 50p more?

The website is woeful with the same ticket options appearing multiple times.

There are airlines and train operators with less fare buckets than a failing provincial bus company in the north east of England…

 The amount of people who think they are saving money and purchase a Gateshead Day ticket  for £5.20 but overide into Newcastle then try to get back into the Gateshead area and get charged £2 . So end up paying £7.20 , instead of £6 at the beginning of the day.
