Nexus would definitely not contract out the 355 if it didn't exist as alternatives already exist.
again, the point your making is irrelavant. as when GNE ran it, it WAS commercially, and then they backed out, causing nexus to fund it. which again, is what michael was SUGGESTING they do.
while you're probably right about nexus ditching the 355 altogether to save coin, your argument is still wrong regarding the alternatives to the 355. fair enough between benton and forest hall or all the way to the city centre, but the 355 is the only bus from the forest hall area directly into longbenton/south gosforth and up hadricks mill onto great north road. hence why the 38 now goes to forest hall via benton park road and four lane ends, so the 355 can create that link.
