There seems to be a fundamental flaw with them. The one in Newcastle last time had damage that looked like the bus should be a write off.
Instead the bus was back in service in 24 hours later and was rumoured to be just a wing mirror by news reports (unsure on that).
They seem rather flimsy and extremely weak.
