to be honest i can see the logic of making walkergate the hub of the north east MMC DD fleet,
although i do agree slatyford needs newer vehicles, i could see any newer vehicles at walkergate replacing the hybrids as they are becoming a micro fleet within the north east, better to cascade them to an an area that has a bigger pool of them to support.
after the hybrids i could potentially see walkergate losing its single decker's of which I've lost track of what is allocated there, is it the 6 ex Manchester 2012 E300s and a handful of ex Stockton E300s? it would make sense to keep the fleet which is CAZ compliant further north and cascade the none compliant vehicles to the south of the river depots like Sunderland and Stockton especially as they have confirmed electrics on order
after that the older E400s, slatyford ideally needs around another ten DD vehicles to flesh out it 62/63 operations, i cant remember what route in Sunderland i was thinking of but potentially some there aswell, hopefully north east some decent vehicles to cascade the older stuff elsewhere,
bit disappointing seeing some divisions getting brand new MMCs to replace ALX400s on student/tourism routes which are seasonal
