This doesn't 100% belong here but just curious after seeing someone talking about a Temsa but why are the Commanders / Pulsars and vehicles onwards allocated in the 14xx/15xx series.

Weren't the 4xxx blocks always the fleet numbers of full length saloons and there were loads of blocks left at the time.

Similar question for the 17xx MPD's when the 2xxx series were always the 8.9m/9.5m bus groupings, the Solo's and E200MMC's after being in the right blocks.

The 1xxx series usually being reserved for stuff inbetween similar to GNE's 8xxx series; Cadets etc.

Assume there's some reason?
