I just don't understand why people freak out when a below Euro 5 engine enters town. Stagecoach obviously have the money to spend and clearly don't care about a charge. In all honesty, £50 isn't that much when it comes to cars/buses either, it's not like the X34's are perminatley allocated E300s.
But on the topic of this, I thought 36964 was Euro 6, with it being used on the 317 a few years back.
No, the 63 plates E200s are Euro 5 which is why they were swapped with 37312/14-19 which are CAZ compliant (even thought they are also Euro 5 but newer and are exempt) as they frequently ended up being allocated to the 12s and 22s.
Who said I 'freaked out' I was only pointing out that it had happened twice in 2 days while there is compliant vehicles running around on the local Shields routes.
