Simple solution would be to introduce a 21S for students travelling from Gateshead to Lord Lawson in Birtley bringing them direct to the school and not Harras Bank and making a walk via shops on the high street etc and thus incurring lateness as a result, I'm sure Go North East, Nexus and Lord Lawson could come to an arrangement.
